About Owner Nicholas English
My journey with VDC (Virtual Design & Construction) technology started at a young age and led me to study Construction Management at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I spent seven years with Turner Construction, working on massive projects with intensive MEP systems. I spent significant time running BIM Coordination on data centers, industrial tool installs, and commercial buildings in addition to creating site logistics and 4D visualizations for sales. No matter the type of project I was working on, my true passion remained innovative construction tech and trying to push boundaries.
I made a special focus on Live 3D Visualizations for sales pursuits, site logistics and 4D for active jobs, and data analytics (and the automation that makes it worthwhile) — creating dashboards for scheduling, engineering, and, of course, VDC.
Fun Facts
I live in Sacramento with my wife, Ashley, and two pups. Nowhere else can you experience so much — the mountain for snowboarding, the beach for surfing, the lake for paddleboarding, and all over for riding my Honda 300L.
